The Elite x3's been pushed back again, Microsoft's pulling support for their own products on Windows mobile, there might not be a Band 3, and Insiders saw a glitch so bad it stopped previews. It wasn't a great week for Windows 10 Mobile — is there a sun behind these clouds?

So Lumia is all but dead. But that doesn't mean that Windows 10 Mobile is dead. If anything, it's getting primed to thrive… after a bit of a refocusing. Devices like the HP Elite x3 should be all the evidence you need: Windows phone isn't going away, but it will also never be the same.

This week we're doing something a little bit different. The Windows Central and Android Central teams are in Berlin for the annual IFA electronics trade show, so we did what we do every day: sat around and talked about all the crazy, cool, and neat stuff that was announced. Only this time we gathered around a microphone in person to record it all. The result? a 2-hour marathon podcast covering all of the important Android and Windows announcements from one of the largest tech extravaganzas of the year.

From the newest Huawei Android phones to Acer's insane laptops to the mind-bending and category-and-platform-bridging Lenovo Yoga Book, there's a lot to cover, so let's get into it!

This week, Derek Kessler, Daniel Rubino, and Zac Bowden sidle up to the microphones to discuss the week's biggest Windows news. And what might that be? Oh, only stuff like the world's biggest gaming convention, a big update for Windows phones, and what's in store for future versions of Windows 10.

Oh, and this absolutely bonkers gaming PC cube… thing… from HP. It's so crazy you can't not talk about it, which was probably HP's idea behind it in the first place. Well played.
